I just finished City of Bones. And now I HAVE to go get City of Ashes. :) I really am surprised at how much I really enjoyed the first book. Hope you enjoy this one. :)
I'm on page 75 and I'm already itching to find out what happens, I always peak to the back of the book when i'm reading, but i'm trying so hard not to!!
This is going to sound awful, but with the way City of Bones ended I had to go looking to see if Clary and Jace are really related or not and if they get together. I really want them together and not related. I found one piece in my quick search so by that I'm hoping for the answers I'm wanting. :)
I am in the middle of the second section, I wasn't impressed with the first section, but i'm really enjoying the second. I haven't gotten to anything about Jace and Clary being related or interested in e/o, idk how I feel about that I like Simon!
Oh, I'm looking forward to seeing more of Simon being around. He is fun and I love the sarcastic humor between them. :) Glad you are enjoying the second section now.
Okay, they are definitely NOT really related. It's all just a little too creepy if they are. They both still felt kind of attracted to each other in the end, and even little things were still a little too close for a familial relationship. Like when they went on that last motorcycle ride and she held on to his belt, I would never hold my brothers belt, it would be too gross for me. My guess is no, they're not related, and I also see Simon turning on Clary. Something I don't remember if it was Hodge or Luke saying how you start feeling used, and then you turn on that person. I was like oh no it's Simon. She asks him for rides and then never invites him to hang out or talk anymore...it's going down.
lol. I have to agree with you! It would all be tooooo creepy. That is part of what I need to know, but kind of don't like. I went to the book store yesterday and picked up City of Ashes, but I don't know when I'll be able to get to it with review books and such. But I DEFINITELY want to get to is sometime soon here. :)
I do hope you really enjoyed it in the end. :) I was really surprised with how involved I became with the book after the first section.
